American Eagle Outfitters Store - CLOSED

My husband and I went in the store today on 125th st we were looking for pants, a lady that works there (a Spanish women) walked right past my husband and I (he is African American) in went to some other lady that was Spanish to ask if she needs help she didnt even look twice to ask if we need help we were so upset we just walked out

Star is only because I have to in order to make a review. I went there recently to do an exchange. Most of the computers (registers) were down except two. There were about 5/6 staff member working- 2 by the door, 1 on the phone w tech support, 2 in the back and the other cashing out a lady. She took forever because she couldnt find the code to scan on the pants. I stood there for over 10 mins and NO ONE made an effort to assist me. I had to wait until that problem was solved. So in my mind I thought ok only one computer works. After I finally got my turn to cash, a white guy stood in the line for less than 10 mins. Low and behold, here comes a lady, logging on to cash him. Thats when I realized that 2 computers worked(and I asked and the lady was still in the phone w tech support). So they had the black wait, but the white cant. Extremely dissatisfied.

True customer service! I was picking up and returning today. The system was having trouble processing my return but the cashiers were patient and worked as a team. Seems like the staff have fun and run this store in a great way. I wish the store was bigger because I usually shop online and would love to come to this location more often!!!!! I even heard a manager saying things like we got this team Reminded me a pre-Covid shopping

I had to share my wonderful experience I had with two sales associates at the American Eagle Harlem Location. I went to the store because I had to return MULTIPLE jeans that did not fit. I was helped by two young ladies named ALEXIS and MARIEL. These girls went ABOVE AND BEYONG to make sure I left the store content and satisfy. They took their time, they never made me felt rushed even though It was almost time to closed the store when I arrived or that I was bothering them. They recommended Jeans that I ended up buying just because of their great customer service. Not only that, they were so knowledgable about the items in the store and even if the item I was looking for was not available at the moment they gave me some recommendations about similar styles of jeans. This two girls deserve to be recognized for their hard work and ensuring that their customer got a great service. I will be definitely returning back to the store just because of them.
