the upper floor of this decrepit building holds a secret, the nyc trash museum. curated by a hoarder (how cruel it must be to be a hoarder working for the department of sanitation), there's rows upon rows of strange finds, arranged thematically. you have the obligatory creepy dolls section, but also beer steins, bad art, motivational posters, appliances, and so much more. you could easily imagine this as the backdrop for a MGMT music video.

Despite working out of condemned building this garage does its job above and beyond. They have very little help on repairing this building because other sanitation garages takes precedence over it. The guys here are still one of the best I have seen at getting the garbage off the street and plowing street during storms. If the neighborhood would be respectful enough to stay off the road when plowing and park unselfishly then I am sure this garage will have an even more productive fight during storms.
