i got salt and pepper tofu and szechuan cabbage take out, and sadly it is so baffling bad that i'm reviewing it. the tofu is 22 dollars yet tough and flavorless, and the cabbage, too, tastes of nothing

In short, SALTY AF. As an elevated Chinese restaurant, I was expecting better quality than just dousing it in salt. We only ordered two dishes: fried mushrooms and the asparagus special (much like the string beans, without the pork). The mushrooms arrived as tiny fried pieces in a rice bowl ($18) and the asparagus spears (also $18) were maybe 8-10 spears tops. Despite the tiny portions, we couldnt finish the meal because it was SO SALTY. So much salt. Salty salt salt. Salt. Endless salt. Ordered rice on top of it and the rice was served on a plate. I dont agree with the choice, but at least it wasnt salty. I am sure the drinks are fine. Service was great. The decor is cool just what the heck. So salty.
