We responded that we kindly ask that you hold off on contacting references until the point of wanting to trial or hire a candidate, out of respect for the candidate and their relationship with their references. However, we gladly shared our notes from phone calls with their references. Yes, our niche is college-educated nannies. However, as this was explained to you thoroughly, we also value experience and accept nannies who come to our agency with vast experience under their belt, such as this candidate, who has more than 10 years of professional childcare experience. Nothing on this candidate’s resume mentions college other than that she has ECE coursework. No false claims were made. You interviewed and trialed this candidate and decided for yourself she was the perfect fit for your family. Lastly, when you alluded to problems with her attendance, we stepped in immediately to help. Not only did we refund you for your trial fee, but we also sent you three exceptional candidates for a replacement in less than 2.5 weeks, and this was only in an internal search. We encouraged you to open the search publicly, but you denied the opportunity. Still, we extended the search fee outside of what our initial contract permits because we do care about our clients and provide an excellent experience overall. We wish you and your family the best.
