I have been to several events held by GACC New York and always enjoyed my time. It is a great organization for networking with the German-American business community and making meaningful professional connections. They have an array of events throughout the year. We asked the GACC Legal Desk for help with a debt collection case. Although the GACC legal team tried very hard, the results did not meet our expectations. The GACC only writes warning letters, but is no longer available if legal proceedings arise. You can also read about this on the GACC website. Every debtor therefore knows that he does not have to be afraid of the GACC. If the reminders are unsuccessful - as in our case - you will receive a list of law firms from GACC, but this list is worthless because it only contains the law firms that you already know. The fees of around 5% of the debt to be collected are too high for this service. We therefore cannot recommend GACC's debt collection service and advise you to hire a special lawyer (debt collector) right from the start.
