Manhattan Cardiology - Upper West Side

I am pleased to share my experience at Manhattan Cardiology. I am a new patient and now have a wonderful cardiologist, Dr. Robert Pilchik, who was highly recommended to me. It's a comfort and a load off my mind knowing that I'm being cared for by a professional specialist who knows his business! I am very fortunate. The staff are experienced and very nice. I'd avoid this place at all costs. Manhattan Cardiology at UWS has rude staff who won't tell you the costs upfront, for a routine checkup they billed my insurance over a thousand dollars. The staff is rude at best, on asking a small question on preparing for a stress test, I was told "read the instructions" - this happened on March 4th, 2024 at around noon. I went to my physician a week later and they disagreed with the diagnosis at Manhattan Cardiology, this was confirmed with a CT scan that my physician scheduled for, and even that was cheaper than what Manhattan Cardiology billed. My recommendation is to save your money, ask your physician for a heart exam or referral or better - just walk in an ER rather than this place. UPDATE: After writing this initial review, I was contacted by Mary Monong from their customer service department, who listened to my issues and provided the right guidance with billing and feedback for the associate working at UWS was accepted.

I have been a patient of this practice for years, and I find it to be well run and caring. I really appreciate the staff and doctors, and highly recommend it.
