Adorama

Ordered a strobe bulb replacement TWO TIMES. Once from Adorama directly, once from Adorama AMAZON store. Both times they sent me the wrong item. I then had to spend my own money to return the item. Absolute clown show. Update, they sent me a replacement. I got the package and it was a bluetooth speaker. You can't make this up. NEVER trusting Adorama again.

Ordered a roll of $400 fine art paper and the whole roll was trash. Prints were flaking off like crazy. Switched to another roll and had no issues. Reached out to Adorama and they said they couldnt do anything about it. That shouldve been my first warning but I thought maybe it was the manufacturers fault or a bad batch. (After my next experience, below, Im thinking it was a fake roll.) After that, I ordered an open box print head for over $500. Was assured on the phone that open box items have never been inserted into a printer. (If they have been, the ink dries up inside and its trash.) Received the order and there was dried ink in the print head and all in the bottom of the box. We knew immediately it was trash because even Canon states on their website dried ink will ruin a print head. Our small business was on hold until we got a new print head, so we called and reported it, sent in photos like we were asked to, etc. We were told wed hear back the next day. We waited and waited. We called, left voicemails, emailed. No reply for FIVE days. Meanwhile, our entire print shop business couldnt fulfill orders. We finally got ahold of someone after being passed around 3 times in a 1.5 hour window of being on hold, and they said theyd offer a PARTIAL refund. We eventually finally got them to agree to issue a full refund and then they said wed have to order a new print head but they couldnt get it to us for 7-10 business days. We shipped out the return and immediately placed an order with their rival company. Within TWO HOURS the rival company had shipped out our new print head with 2 day shipping AND had offered a discount we didnt ask for (nor did they know of the drama with Adorama.) Adorama had no discount to offer for our troubles and didnt care that they had put our small business on hold for nearly two weeks. They literally do not care about small businesses. Even after calling them out multiple times on social media for their scams in hopes of receiving the full refund, they couldnt be bothered to reply to anything, not even emails. At this point weve wasted around $1000 with Adorama. Save your money, time and heartache and shop with B & H Photo. Ive never had anything but pleasant, professional experiences with them. Adorama is a scam company. $1000 is a lot to a small business and weve been screwed over. Dont let it happen to you.
