The marble hearth for our fireplace needed to be replaced for years. House settlement caused the slab to heave, crack and loosen into several pieces. Bergen marble carried out the work professionally and without a hitch.

I found Bergen Kitchen because I was looking for a special kind of stone as far as veinings are concerned. There is so much out in the market that is just simply run of the mill. And that is when I met Mervei. She quickly knew the design aesthetics I was looking for and I valued her sense of empathy to my needs. To top it off, she found the stone that perfectly fits our budget. The great collaboration continued through to the actual designing of the countertop and the backsplash. And this is when I met Hasan, who is a creative genius in ensuring that the dramatic veins in the stones are used to the full extent. Mervei, Hasan and I had 2-3 Zoom meetings. Hasan's suggestions and renditions made it easy for me to make the design decisions to sign-off on the design. You'll see the results in the attached photos. When it came time to the installation - it was all quick and smooth and easy. Henry and his team knew what they were doing and made sure that our apartment was clean when they left. In summary, Bergen Kitchen offered the best customer service - from pre-sales to design and installation. They also have the best selection of stones - natural or engineered (i.e. sintered stone) in the NY metro area. They have a facility in Ridgefield Park, NJ where you can see the many beautiful products they have. I give them a 5-star ... a perfect 10.
