ART SoHo (Arlo Roof Top)

Went there to attend a wedding reception. By my estimate there were about 150 people there with everyone packed so tight that we could hardly move to get to the bar or get a snack. Not a great place for such a big crowd. They had sliders, pizza and other snacks brought to the tables with a few couches. Most of the people were forced to stand throughout the function.

Drinks are delicious, the crowd is great. Views aren’t the best but the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Nice space, decent but really expensive drinks. Guacamole and chips was excellent.

We got a reservation at 10:45pm. after we sat and decided what to order, all the foods were unavailable for order in the menu. we asked the waiter what happened and he said that the kitchen closes at 11pm, a fact that no one bothered to tell us about. We were just about to order and it was 11:01 when we called the waiter, that called the manager, that told us there was basically nothing to do but he’ll try to see what he can do. He came back 5 minutes later to tell us that the kitchen is all closed but he’s going to see if he can find something and to give him 4 minutes to check. He came back about 30 minutes later to ask if we were okay, although we saw him hang out at the place and passing by us a few times, no answer was ever provided. We said we’re fine and left about a minute later, and ordered Uber eats. Drinks also took more than 20 minutes to arrive, but were good.
