Beware. Tried making a withdrawal at an ATM here, and it didnt dispense my money despite the transaction going through. Now a big hassle to get my money back.

Very unprofessional. Someone had to make a deposit on my account and they handed that person a receipt with the amount in my account. I've used other branches and none of them will provide the amount unless you have ID or you are entering your card. I called the branch to complain about this and have been on hold over five minutes, most likely will keep me on hold until closing time which is not too far from this post.

Don't go here. Just don't. I closed my account today because everytime I showed up at Santander there were always like 3 people in the whole branch so I would always wait 45 minutes. I finally closed my account (took me a few months because they close at 5pm - what bank closes at 5pm in New York?!) and they print me a bank check for my remaining balance. To show you how shoddy everything is, their check printer was running low on ink, and so the check was illegible. The teller looked at it, frowned, and gave it to me anyway. I tried to deposit it at an atm, and the atm took the check, only for me to get an email from my other bank saying "sorry, we had to remove that deposit because no one can read the check." Avoid this bank like the plague. Go to a professional bank like Chase or TD Bank where you won't have to worry about low ink prints on checks. Or 45 minute waits. Or 3 people working at a 3,000 square foot branch. The new Santander slogan is something about care and respect. Yeah, right. It's telling - this location is so poor they opted to remove their Yelp page.
