    Ive attached 2 photos. One are the cupcakes that came out great and were tasty. The other are the ones that came outnot so well. I didnt notice those because they were packed underneath the good looking ones, which I hope wasnt intentional. With that said I asked for a refund for those cupcakes and was told I have to bring them back -theyre not reusable the photo of how they were given to me should be enough. In addition, we had an egg allergy but the cupcakes were labeled gluten free (they were not). Had to call to make sure they did in fact not have egg which they were able to verify over the phone, but not with the level of confidence that you want with an allergy. At the end of this discussion with Billys I was pretty annoyed about the return them for refund and while telling my wife we shouldnt buy here again the Billys rep must have heard and taken offense because she hung up on me without a word. I dont think I was rude although definitely irritated. This does conclude our business relationship though thats for sure. Update: Billys says they reviewed surveillance footage to confirm they left the facility intact. Its impressive that the surveillance footage was able to see through the pre-packed bag with the good cupcakes on the top and the bad ones on the bottom. Lets assume that these X-ray surveillance cameras did, in fact, see the cupcakes leave in fine shape. This means that they were so poorly packaged that they became ruined while the properly packaged ones were not. Whether it was poor packaging that let them get ruined or you delivered them in the bad state, you did wrong to your customer. Take some responsibility as a business owner, with a customer service mindset and find a way to make it right. I suppose theres a third option which is that I am the cupcake grinch and take pleasure in taking perfectly good cupcakes, ruining half of them and then sullying the good reputation of legitimate cupcake manufactures. We should look at more surveillance footage, maybe that will reveal my true intentions Dietary restrictions: Not clear labels for consumers with allergies.

    Yes again, another issue with delivery. Following last week's birthday debacle (a cake delivered in pieces) the same was true for a cupcake order. In addition, two of the cupcakes have mold. How do these people stay in business?

Hi Chris,We actually reviewed surveillence footage after you called to see what the cupcakes looked like when they left the bakery and they did NOT look like this photo. Offering a refund was a courtesy, as this clearly happened after the product left the bakery. As for them not being 'usable' our cupcakes are intended for eating; not sure how this would not be 'usable.'As for our Gluten Free Vegan Chocolate Chip Cupcakes, you ordered from the webpage containing this description: Super moist and fantastically delicious chocolate cake that is both gluten-free and vegan with chocolate chips folded into the batter. Made with NO eggs, NO milk, and NO butter. Contains refined sugar. ALLERGENS: almond milk, and soy lecithin.They are, indeed, BOTH Gluten-Free and Vegan (containing NO egg). UPDATE: Thanks for your further comment. We looked at surveillance footage of when your bag was packed-out (as a cross-check of our employees' work), not after it was already bagged / handed to you. So, no x-ray vision needed to see that these were not damaged, as seen in your photo. The packaging was clearly not 'poor,' as the other 3 dozens are perfectly in-tact, as evidenced in your photo. These cupcakes were mishandled AFTER leaving our bakery. But, since customer service IS our priority - we offered a refund/exchange upon return as a courtesy, regardless of this not being our fault. You laughed, said 'this is ridiculous,' then hung up the phone. Note taken on adding the 'Vegan' word to the labeling of our Gluten-Free Vegan cupcakes. Thanks!
