Last breakfast on the trip was at this place and it was awesome. So yummy, I would definitely try it again.

The coffee is very delicious and is not commercial. The sweet bread is delicious and the sausage is good

In general I really like the concept of the "Paris Baguette" brand. This particular branch has an upper floor ideal for working on the computer, you can charge your cell phone, and it has a great view of 7th Avenue. However, this branch is very neglected, both the upper and lower floors are dirty, the bathrooms are also dirty and especially the upstairs bathroom, which has been dirty for more than three days and is truly disgusting. The heating temperature could be a little warmer as well, as one seeks to rest for a moment and warm up before going out into the cold of the streets of New York. The brand itself has many good things; The product, the bread, the food and the drinks are delicious and at a fair price; However, the lack of cleanliness of most branches does not reflect the quality and warmth that the brand image conveys.

We placed an order for pickup earlier but when we arrived the order wasn't ready despite receiving a notification 5-7 minutes before we arrived stating it was ready. It seemed like they were short staffed and there was a dispute going on between the two workers. Honestly if we didn't pre-pay for an online order I would've left. One worker was hovering over the other oneb that was making our beverages, much to the frustration of the line of customers waiting at the register. Some customers left due to the lack of service. Eventually the worker hovering over the person making our drinks stopped and grabbed the pastries for our order. When doing so, he bumped into my partner with his shoulder and made no apology or even acknowledgement of doing so. After this, he started working the register instead of continuing to hover over the person fulfilling our pickup order. A little too late, as some customers were already frustrated and walking out by now. When I was finally given our order, I noticed we were missing a drink so we had to wait longer. Unfortunately we were also missing our cookies and I didn't catch this until hours later.... On top of all this, the place looked grimy/disshelved. Maybe it's because it was later in the evening (8ish), maybe because they were short staffed....but definitely another reason I would've just left if we didn't already have an order placed. I won't be returning to this location if I even go to a Paris Baguette in the future!
