I needed an appraisal for insurance purposes. I was concerned that in a region with a lot of well heeled clients, it might be hard to get an appraiser to pay attention to a relatively modest household with older furniture. I was therefore doubly pleased when Ms. Yellen performed her appraisal. She was very professional and casually knowledgeable but also had enthusiasm for a wide variety of objects, adding to our appreciation of what we had. She provided considerable perspective during her visit, and her subsequent research while preparing the appraisal was noticeably deeper than the previous appraisal we had from nearly 20 years ago. I recommend her highly.
