I bought a smeg hood about 2yrs. ago and after 18months the lights stopped working. Tried like everyone else to contact the NYC office left messages sent e mails with no response. Tried to contact italy with no luck. Now i can't get parts to repair it so probably will buy a new hood. I read all the bad reviews and now realize they are true. Don't waste you money on this company

I had such an amazing experience today with a young woman named Shay. My espresso maker that I had purchased last month was making strange noises and stopped working. Shay was very knowledge about the product, and very responsive via email. She was able to make a terrible experience fantastic! She was very sympathetic and understood that i need my coffee!

Would give zero stars if I could. No customer service, can't get replacement parts when your year old fridge inevitably breaks. No one knows how to repair Smeg products either. Stay away!

Shame on Smeg! The worst company Ive ever bought from! No response to our customer service requests. No answer to our dozens of phone calls and messages. No response to our urgent emails about our large appliance bolt breaking off, hitting me in the head and causing me to black out. Weve had caution tape around our fridge for about a month now trying to reach Smeg USA for a replacement part and have heard absolutely NOTHING but automated responses! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY! Shame on SMEG!
