While claiming to be a luxury building they are anything but. The only positives are a nice lobby, the doormen and the apartment layouts. We have lived in the building for 12 years now and the services are declining year after year, especially since Equity Residential took over: Cheaper and cheaper appliances, worse and worse services (we had to wait two weeks to get the dishwasher fixed), ugly cheap non-matching yellow replacement tables that look liked they came from a yard sale, non-working barbecues and no-working lights. These non-working rooftop lights are a mystery. During the winter they are on all the time. However, during the summer they are switched off when it gets dark. The whole thing feels like Equity does anything they can to prevent you from enjoying the rooftop while being able advertise that they have one to lure you in.
