I did not have a good experience here. The vet technician was quite rude when I dropped off my dog to get a shot. They also asked me which vaccine he needed even though the appointment was made for a specific vaccine. The medical records they sent are very disorganized compared to other vet records I have. I would avoid if you can.

Dr. McDermott is friendly, compassionate, intelligent and takes such good care of my Noelle. She takes her time and preforms a thorough exam and answers all of our questions and concerns about our fur baby.

Save yourself the time and trouble and find another vet out of the dozens in the area. We recently moved to the neighborhood and tried Pure Paws because one of the Vets was a fellow University of Michigan alum. The first visit seemed to be good and the vet we saw was nice. The prices were quite high, even with a first visit discount, but if the vet was really good it was worth it for our dog. The second visit was nothing short of an abomination. The vet tech was lazy and rude, didn't have the vaccine right, and refused to allow us to come back with our dog to get his vaccine. Pure Paws then didn't provide the results of a heartworm test for over two weeks until we called them. The receptionist clearly couldn't care less and didn't even apologize for what was clearly a mistake. After we left them, we received the laziest vaccine record I have ever seen. Entirely in very poorly done short hand, and difficult to follow. For the high prices Pure Paws charges, their services should be immaculate. Instead, (at least some of) their admin, vet tech staff, and procedures seem far below acceptable standards, which absolutely needs to be addressed.
