I have used this company for about 8 years. This past fall they came out to yearly service the generator which the man did. When I received their invoice I noticed several charges which were different from years past.1. They added a fuel surcharge for the van the man drives,(thats cost of doing business where I come from , Where should I send my invoice for the high cost of fuel ? ) its almost like the house painter renting you his brush while he paints your house. 2.they are charging people an extra fee to use their credit card. Seems to me they would rather have tax free cash from their customers? I told the owner and the head secretary in person that I did not agree with either of their fees and I would not be paying them. They sent another invoice for the twenty something balance which I discarded as I considered the matter closed. Now, my credit card statement shows that they paid themselves the open balance which is next to Stealing in my mind. This service company, like many have big heads and think they can muscle their customers around. What ever people do going forward do not give them a credit card for file and really read your invoice. I no longer trust the owner or the office staff. The field mechanics are good at what they do, the policys are not their fault. Thanks Mike Duryea

Gentech cane out to service my generator. Ronnie explained what was going on with my unit and had everything functional within the hour. I lose power frequently where I live, so I depend on my generator. Thank you for having me up and running again! 10 days after my service visit my generator began to randomly turn on, so I needed another service visit which would be at least 360 . I was told my warranty was 3 yrs this being my 2nd, and we were unsure if time and travel were still valid for this second visit. I was told the visit had to be done, generac needed a control number, and then they'd find out AFTER they come out whether this was in warranty. I asked about a control number being present during the first visit, and inquired whetheri can call Generac first. I was told they'd ask a bunch of technical questions so they have to come out. That didnt make any sense to me. Right after speaking with Jonathan I called Generac who gave me the information I needed, and told me they definitely knew that information whichwas time and travelhad already lapsed and my parts was still valid til 2024. After showing up an hr and 15 min after appt time being confirmed the day before ( i called the day of asking about techand was told appt was now an hr later. Without no notification to myself) , being misled about the warranty i just don't know how I feel . Jonathan was great at listening to my issue as I documented all occurrences of the generator now turning on randomly different times of day ( an issue I never experienced since owning it) . He did listen to what I have to say and offered insight. Although the insight would have costed me even more money. 10 days is an extremely short period of time to meed service after just having service.The great news is the generator works more than the 10 min during storms ( my diagnosed issue was a lose part that was superglued together because the work truck wasnt available to bolt it down)But now it just runs when it wants without outage. So now I have a standby generator powered off because I can't be certain it wont just turn on while I'm away 10 hours a day working

Do not use. Not trustworthy. They sabotaged my generator once it passed its 5 year mfg. warranty just so they could try to sell me a new one. Said it needed new parts and wouldn't repair it without first getting my credit card. Then said the new parts didn't correct problem and it needed additional parts and then recommend I purchase a new generator. Connected a different company who got it working, said the problem was an incorrect spark gap and incorrect programming.

So ... they sell our family a generator and install it saying that our service charges are free. Yet they charge us $10 for an "added fuel service" charge because gas is so high because of Biden. They are doing this to everyone to essentially steal $10 from all their customers. Very poor customer service & unethical business practices by them!
