        Waiters were nice. Decor was fine, but the food was awful!!! I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and was grossly disappointed. Meatloaf just tasted like bread, mashed potatoes were watery and flavorless, and the gravy had a weird processed aftertaste to it. Nothing seemed to even be seasoned with salt or pepper. I politely asked the waiter to take the food after 3 bites since the food was bad, and was taken back when I saw the charge still on the bill. Charged $20 for meatloaf that was wretched and sent back. Never wasting my money here again.

        The Wooden Spoon has always been a staple for us who live in New Rochelle, the perfect blend of comfort and American cuisine theres honestly no reason to not go. Great prices and my usual is either the chicken&waffles or grilled cheese with tomato soup
