Francisco Javier Laplaza, MD

I took my 19 month old son to Dr Laplaza to get an orthos opinion because he is delayed in walking. He spent 5 minutes lecturing me on the way I filled out his intake form and dismissed the reason for our visit entirely. He was extremely condescending and rude. He spoke to my wife and I like we were idiots and was in no way constructive. Ive worked in healthcare most of my professional career and I would go almost anywhere else. His bedside manner is not fit for adults let alone children.

I do not recommend this doctor to any one. I came to him for a second opinion because my daughter walks with her feet inward. I told him that she falls a lot and I believe is because of her having her foot inward but he said is not that reason it might be because she might be a clumsy little girl. He cuts me off when I explain something he is a very rude doctor. I have never seen a rude doctor like him before.

If I could put 0 stars I wouldLaplaza was incredibly unprofessional and rude to my family. He barely attempted to check my childs leg, which is the reason for the appointment. If you work in pediatrics, you should have patience and compassion when it comes to working with children, of which he had none. He is simply checking the boxes to get a paycheck and I wouldnt recommend him to anyone.
