        Though I like Dr. Patel as a professional, I don't love how she and her team don't have respect for the families that have to take off from their work days so we can wait 1.5 hours to see her for a 4 minute visit. I asked the front desk what was taking so long and the receptionist laughed at me. The person whose salary I help pay laughed at me and didn't even give a reason or apologize. Later I found out that the nurses FORGOT about us. But still, no apology, no signs of remorse. Will not be returning here.

        We were recommended to Dr. Patel by our pulmonologist and switched over after meeting her. Dr. Patel has provided great care to my micro preemie. She was attentive and we were able to always reach her regardless of her busy schedule. She kept in close contact with the pulm and pediatrician on my son's care team. Each surgery she gave explicit details and would check in or have her resident visit. She answers questions and listens to the family's concerns and tries all options before surgery is necessary. She is now the ENT for my younger son.

      Neha Ashwin Patel, MD

      Dr. Neha A. Patel is a pediatric otolaryngologist of the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children s Medical Center of New York. Dr. Patel received her medical degree with a distinction in research from Albany Medical College and completed residency training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. She then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology Seattle Children s Hospital with subspecialty training in pediatric craniofacial, vascular anomalies and advanced pediatric head and neck surgery. Dr. Patel s clinical interests include velopharyngeal insufficiency surgery, surgical management of lesions of the head and neck including lymphatic malformations and hemangiomas. Dr. Patel s current research also focuses on the management of pediatric thyroid cancer. Dr. Patel has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. Most importantly, Dr. Patel s focus is on delivering the highest quality care to all children ranging from premature infants to adolescents in a family friendly environment.
