As my Mother's caretaker, Dr. Arena did his best to gently explain things to Mom, but made very sure I knew exactly what what to do, what was happening and what to expect. His empathy and pragmatism are a source of strength as we continue this journey.

Clearly a brilliant doctor. Additionally Dr Arena has a staff of NPs that are way above average. They are caring, through, and very professional. Godforbid you are in need of a doctor to set up a plan of care for you, dont hesitate to contact his office. They have a way of making you feel safe and cared for during a very scary time. Sometimes you'll have to wait a while to see him, but don't let that discourage you. You'll be in excellent, caring and compassionate hands.

My family and I had the unfortunate experience of choosing Dr Francis arena and his very uncompassionate office of nurses. He decided to give my father continuous chemo after months and months over one year of chemo which had already deleted the cancer in his body. The continued chemo is what destroyed all his organs and killed him in the end. I had the gut feeling it was too much chemo and why keep doing it after the cancer is gone. So-called doctor arena said it was preventative . I feel that because they get paid more from the insurance company. Get second and third opinions I do not recommend this doctor.

I've known Dr. Arena for over a decade now, and he continues to impress. A solid physician and a great guy all around.
