Northwell Health Physician Partners Gastroenterology at Lake Success

Called this office worst experience ever. A Lady answered sounded like she didn't want to work or I was annoying her. There was a lot of laughing and chatting in the background about irrelevant things person was distracted. I was not please with the service.

Very kind and professional. Took the time to listen and review my labs. Felt respected never rushed. Great human being. Highly recommended!

The most blatant discrimination Ive ever seen. Im a PA that works for Columbia and have an urgent need to be seen by a GI. They were willing to give me an appointment the next day until I said I had Medicaid for a week until my insurance changed to Empire BC/BS. I offered to pay for the visit and all testing myself because they dont accept Medicaid and the manager said they couldnt book me an appointment because I have Medicaid and needed to be seen in a Clinic. Even after I offered to pay the visit myself several times, the fact that I had Medicaid was enough for them to turn a patient away and keep repeating that because I had Medicaid I needed to go to a clinic. If thats not obvious discrimination, I dont know what is. I expected more of a Northwell affiliate. A disgusting display. Very unfortunate.

I first chose Dr. Thomas because he is a young doctor with a medical degree from Cornell Medical School. When I met him, I realized that he is a very thoughtful and knowledgeable doctor who never rushed me; he was very courteous and answered my numerous questions with thorough responses. He is a true gentleman too. He has helped me manage my acid reflux which has eased my mind. He is aware of all the lastest developments and has a very technical yet practical approach to addressing medical issues. I highly recommend him and wish him continued success.
