I was a little skeptical about finding my lawyer online after I've got a ticket for texting while driving. This was my first incident being ticketed for something that would cost me 5 Points on my license so I decided to fight and plead not guilty. I bumped into a police car in a parking lot in Airmont, and the police acted as if I was guilty of murder. The accident was beyond minor, but the officer I hit called an ambulance, that carried him off in a stretcher. As I understand it, 3 months later he is still on sick leave, even though he made no claim to my insurance company. They charged me with a misdemeanor and made all kinds of threats.
