Bought a new Taylor classical Academy guitar which came with unplayable action for my small hands. Taylor recommended Eric Solomon ( Calico Guitar works in Nesconset, Long Island) to make any needed adjustments. I asked Eric to correct the action and set up the guitar for my personal needs ( his suggestion ). Left it with him for a few short days and picked it up beautifully reworked (vastly improved) with neck removed and reshimmed, new strings and action exactly as I had hoped. It plays like a dream. Only wish I could match his talent with my playing. Very happy and will absolutely recommend his service to anyone needing help with their instrument(s). Efficient service and fairly priced. Erik and Andrew made my MIM player strat feel like an American Pro II. Went from being out of tune every song to being in tune for a week straight. Incredible setup job and fret end dressing. They made so many improvements to my instrument, I cannot list them all. The care, knowledge and expertise these guys have is unparalleled. Im really appreciative to have them for my guitar and bass maintenance.
