Central Plumbing & Drains

We hired this company to complete bathroom/kitchen projects for us over 4 years ago after an emergency when our upstairs bathroom leaked into our kitchen. The work was very poor quality & the bathroom ended up again leaking into our brand new kitchen after both were gutted & redone. We offered Steve the opportunity to come in to fix everything but we were ignored. We ended up adding this to a small claims court case against his "contractor" partner (Keenon Trevor) & Steve never showed up to court. We won by default & received a letter afterward from his attorney for the case. As it was settled, we reached out to both Steve/Central Plumbing & the attorney to collect & we have been ignored for 2 years. Same goes for Keenon (he showed up with an attorney & judgement was in our favor but neither will answer or pay us). I would stay far away from both of these totally shady "professionals".

Central Plumbing and Drains tried to charge us $864 to replace a toilet shutoff valve and install a new toilet, which we had already bought. The technician (Rich) claimed he doesn't set the prices but was willing to make price adjustments. Eventually we settled on $350 and got the work done albeit unprofessionally. Rich didn't check to see that the old toilet had been fully drained before removing it. It started leaking as he was removing it. He asked me if i had some old towels to use to clean up his mess. He left the bathroom messy. We cleaned it up and took the old toilet downstairs ourselves. He didn't have some of the parts required to do the installation asked for scissors/knives and a plastic tube to work around not having a supply line. A couple of days later, the shutoff valve was leaking and we called Central Plumbing and Drains who promised to call me back with a scheduled visit date and time. They never called me back. I called back a couple of days later and they promised to come and correct the issue on Wednesday morning (11/16) between 10 and 11am. At 11:10, I called and they said they were running 2 hours behind. At 3 pm, they called saying they were sending someone in half an hour. To add insult to injury, he said they would charge us the $150(service call fee) AGAIN and additional charges for the work to rectify their shoddy job!!! since the shoddy work done before didn't have a warranty!! He dismissively told us call someone else to do the work and hang up. For anyone else reading this, save yourself and call someone else in the first place.

They scheduled a time to an estimate with me, then didn't show up or even call to reschedule. These folks don't need any new business. They have enough customers already.
