Ideal Food Basket

most staff doesn't speak English you ask for assistance they have this blank look most of the items listed on sale are out of stock

I am not very happy with this store. I live close by and I have to walk to the store as I have no other means of transportation besides a bus or cab (a cab I cannot afford). So I went there today to the Ideal store in Menands and I have the advertisement to tell me what's on sale. Well, I wanted the Land O Lakes Whipped Butter which was on sale for 2 for $4 and on the shelf they had Land O Lakes Margarine not Butter. False advertising for this store. Also, I wanted to buy Cabot French Onion Dip which which was also on sale for 2 for $3 and they had none on the shelf. So I asked one of the employees if they had any in the back and I think he checked but I am not sure and he came back and said their was none back there and none would be coming in until Tuesday, December 2, 2014 and these things just went on sale yesterday, Friday, November 28, 2014 and already they are out of these items. Well I couldn't wait until Tuesday to get these things so I ended up buying some other butter that cost me more and also the onion dip which also cost me more. I needed these things today. I will not recommend this store to anyone. Everytime I go there, the shelves seem to be always empty of things that are suppose to be on sale and also other items. Also, you're prices are outrageous. I am going to have to find another store to shop like Price Chopper or Hannafords and because I don't drive a car it's going to take me longer to get to the store by bus. There, I've said my peace. You really need to do something about this store.
