Terribly run organization from top to bottom. A real disgrace to the neighborhood. I hope they loose their funding

I called to get help. I explained my situation where Im living (where Im recieving dangerous threats from the building management just because I told them their loud music was vibrating our floors) I was stopped in the middle of my explanation to be told "you arent homeless or have an eviction so you dont qualify, we cant help you just because your unhappy with your apartment." I said ok and was taking a second to think as I was honestly shocked by being interupted and misunderstood than she said sorry and hung up the phone before showing any compassion, offering any advice or where else to go or even letting ne feel like I said what I needed to say completely .. I was just dumped. I was homeless last December and saw a completely different side. I ended up finding this apartment and not needing MILC at that time but now when I really needed them.. I feel pushed off. Just a few minutes after recieving the rude denial, I came home just to be threatened by the managers boyfriend saying he was going to shoot us all in the head. The first thing I thought of was how hard it was for me to ask for help to be turned away.. to now face threats with a gun. I am now stuck... being afraid to ask anyone for help as Im sick of feeling like someones punching bag. I do not recommend MILC. Its unfortunate because there is a worker in Malone that has compassion and goes out of her way to help... even if its advice or suggestions instead of acting like she dont have the time like the director in Massena. I dont understand why anyone would take a job to help people struggling than be bothered when people ask for help. I would highly recommend doing evaluations on the staff. If she is experiencing burnout... than someone else should take her place.
