In short, Westchester Environmental was professional, responsive and very fairly priced. Great value and no compromises on the work. I contacted them for various work I needed done including clearing a large area of fallen/dead trees, ground clearing of brush, trees and vines, pruning, dead tree removal and stump grinding. I received a callback to set up an appointment right away. The appointment was only a few days out and Gerrard showed up on time. Gerrard looked over the site, listen to my needs and then made some suggestions based on his expert opinion. The add-ons recommended were of nominal additional cost and I was explained and educated on why the suggestions were made. Gerrard gave me a very fair price for everything and feeling good about Westchester Environmental, I scheduled the job. On the day of the work, the team showed up on time and began working like savages (in a good way). They made quick work of everything, but spared no detail and did not miss anything agreed to. In fact, when Gerrard showed up to make sure things were going well, he directed the team to go above and beyond what I was expecting. They spent the better part of the entire day on the job and when it was finished, they surpassed any expectations I had. I will be calling Westchester Environmental again and I do recommend them for all your tree needs. Great people doing great work at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately our 100 year old ash tree was dying and needed to be removed. Gerard was very responsive and his team of 3 came (early!) to take it down. There was a misunderstanding about the wood removal but Gerard and his team took care of everything with no attitude and no additional costs. They worked quickly, cleanly, and safely and I'd be happy to use them again! Service: Tree removal

Professional and reliable, sized for wood burning stove, clean, and seasoned, wood, burns nicely for good heat. I've used them for years - no complaints.

Excellent experience! They came by and gave me a quote the same day I called. Gerard was personable and professional and gave me the lowest price out of several estimates from other companies. Once I hired them they did the job a few days later and removed 2 massive trees. It was a dangerous job and I was blown away by the how skillful they were. Both trees had to be removed by climbing them. Very nice people do deal with and I will definitely be hiring them again. Service: Tree removal
