High Five Daycare

My 8 month old daughter has been at High Five Daycare in Sunnyside for 3 months and we have had such a great experience. Everyone who works there is so nice and welcoming. The teachers are very communicative. They use an app to send updates, messages, and pictures, which has been so helpful during my transition back to work. They take such good care of my daughter. She is always so happy when we drop her off and pick her up. I would absolutely recommend this daycare.

Long story short, I just will NOT recommend it 1. If you want your baby( to be fair, mine was there when he turned 3 months old, so dont know the rest) to be taken care of with LOVE. 2. If you want your questions/concerns related to money being addressed timely!

High five is an amazing daycare. We started there in March 2021, after our original daycare closed down during Covid. Our son was home for a while during the pandemic and was very anxious to start a new place, but everyone at High Five made the transition so much easier. Jonathan the director is communicative and the teachers are caring, extremely competent, and transparent. They do so many fun activities and send plenty of pictures on an app for the parents everyday (highlight of my day to see what my kid is doing and how much fun hes having!). You can message the teachers and admin on the app as well and it makes communication so much easier and efficient. I also love that they do social events on weekends for families and kids to get together (there was a Thanksgiving event at the park with a magic show), which is definitely above and beyond what other places do. Our son became such close friends with his classmates and I think that speaks volume to the community that High Five has created. Thank you to everyone at High Five! Xx

I had my daughter attending High Five since she was not even 4 months old, she started in January 2020 - then pandemic happened and the daycare closed and reopened in June 2020 and shes has been the happiest kid to go to school. Jonathan and all the teachers has been an extension of our family in the hardest moment of our lives. We are Italians and live here in NY by ourselves so we are raising a child with no help, and it happened to be during the pandemic but everyone at High Five supported us in raising Eva. She has been loved in every stage of her growth, the program is following the Reggio Emilia approach, which is still part of Montessori. The kids explore materials and textures since they are few months old, and they grow while learning how to do things by themselves. My daughter has been an happy kid for almost 3 years and I think that, at the end, this is all that count! Thank you High Five family!
