First time using this company for filing my 2021 taxes. I originally planned on filing for myself and a few of my family members, but literally after the first 5 minutes of being in this particular office, I decided to cut my losses and just file my own. Im an old school type of person, as I walk into an establishment, try to say hello, how can we help you?... something like that would have been acceptable since the entire place was empty and I had two young women just staring at me and not initiating a greeting or even acknowledging that a customer is in the vicinity. Second, the young woman who filed my taxes seemed nice enough, but lacked the experience as evidenced by her frequent calls to the "boss" when asking for filing related questions. That would have not bothered me initially, but then why would you have someone unsupervised who is new on the job?? The last huge issue I experienced was the PRICE! The woman first quoted me over $400 for filing and when I showed her what I paid from H&R Block from the year before, she all of a sudden called her "boss" and dropped the price to less than half to match the other agency. What kind of scam is that? Within a 2 minute phone call, they dropped the price in half? So why not start from there and just be honest with your pricing?? What if I didnt know any better and just paid the double price?? Simply stated, they lost my patronage and this will be the last time I use this company for my own or my family's income tax filing.
