I called to get a quote for car insurance because I wanted to know if I could get a cheaper price. I was quoted three times my current insurance cost, and I decided to keep my existing insurance. Farmers Group then reported me to the New York State DMV that I did not have insurance coverage (I have full insurance coverage with USAA for years, no lapse) then billed me for thousands of dollars for coverage I never signed up for. This horrible company that practices strong arming potential customers and using scare tactics. Disgusting Farmers Group Ins. Do better.
