We went to the Red Robin in Latham and we had the most wonderful waitress/server Rachel. She was such a doll and super attentive. If we could have Rachel as our server everywhere we went, life would be great! Please give her a bonus or something...she really went above and beyond for us.

While the food was good, the service was perhaps some of the worst in Albany. Ordered drinks, and got a starting plate of fries and our appetizer before the drinks despite ordering the food after ours drinks. Id say about 45 minutes, while appetizers were 30. The waitress seemed very frazzled, and never asked if we wanted sauce with our fries so we had to ask the people who dropped off the fries. Once we got our food and drinks, it was very delicious. Service was just very off. The place also took down the big glass wall that has been there for years, and it has made the place significantly louder. Hopefully they replace it soon. I do come here on occasion, so hopefully next time it is better but overall is was okay. Sad to see every time I come is a vastly different experience.

Haven't been there in quite a few years, and going today reminded me why. Service Service Service..... it's not really difficult to provide reasonable service when you're in the service industry unless you just lack any kind of skill. I guess I'm just from a different generation where we took pride in a job well done, no matter what your job was at the time!! Today's generation doesn't have that pride they could care less and it shows.
