Lancaster Commons Senior Apartments

Need to fix laundry machines. The dryers do not work because the vents are colleges and a fire hazard. Management does not seem to care. Fitness room also an unsafe and someone is going to get injured. The property manager is useless. She does not even treat the residence with respect or make eye contact when speaking to them. She says everything is not her problem and that she cant do it. When she supposed to be there, she sneaks off to go to the store.

Awful management. They are rude and disrespectful to residents, dont shovel in the winter, let other residents leave nasty notes on doors and cars. Always loud and smells like pot. Their rent is unreasonable and increases every year.

I recently went to look at the apartments at Lancaster Commons. The apartment manager Mary Pat was so very nice and explained everything in great detail. Even though it was at the end of the month and she was extremely busy we never felt rushed and she treated us like we were family. She helped us in deciding on what would be the very best apartment to match my needs. Everything is very clean well taken care of & so many amenities. All the tenants that I passed were extremely friendly. I had no problem making my decision that Lancaster Commons is somewhere I will be happy living at. Cant wait to move in!

If I could give zero stars I would. My parents moved out, cleaned the place spotless and had a walkthrough with everything signed off in good shape. Then this place decided to keep part of their security deposit with a lame explanation and wont return correspondence. Beware moving in here!

Its hard to rate a place when you only c a specific area.my moms apartment.the building is clean,nicely landscaped ,well decorated and seems to have enough " entertainment " areas for folks to do things. Pool table ,t.v.'s,common / private areas w board games ,books and puzzles etc. My mother is not the social butterfly type so getting a handle on the overall atmosphere is tough. The only issue was a few encounters w building maintenance,sometimes a little slow to respond but friendly and courteous.with being there a short time we're not sure if that's a big issue yet.as is with any decisions on taking care of your parents ask allot of questions AND keep vigilant!!!
