        We learned about the formation of the first New York State government (19 men crammed into a room in a 100 year-old Dutch colonial house) and the subsequent burning of Kingston by the British. Well worth a visit.

        I am from out of state and I looked Senate House up to see the hours and fees. We arrive with our cards and was told they dont take cards or checks, cash only. It isnt mentioned in the website that it is cash only. I could have gone to a a n ATM but the next tour that we could have gone on was the time we needed to be at the airport. They should mention cash only on their website.
