Ive been dealing with an insurance issue for almost a year now with them. The hospital keeps sending them a bill, which when I speak to a representative on the phone they say they will cover, then I just keep getting billed again saying insurance isnt covering it. And now Im getting letters from collections. Ive called United healthcare on at least 6 separate occasions about the matter to find out whats going on with the matter and they say its the hospitals fault. Then I call the hospital and tell them exactly what insurance needs. And both ends say theyll get it taken care of but yet again its been a year and the bill has been bounced back and forth between the two at least 7-8 times because United just keeps finding small technicalities to get out of paying it. I dont see why resolving miscommunications between insurance and the hospitals billing department should become my full time job. It would be nice if anyone here was competent enough to handle the matter so I could stop getting letters from debt collection agencies. I have perfect credit and have never missed a bill in my life. Ive tried calling several times today and cant reach anybody so now Im just at wits end and result to leaving this review out of frustration. Get your act together United healthcare. Do your job. Stop causing your customers unnecessary stress and potentially messing up their 20 years of perfect credit history because of your incompetence.
