Bank of Greene County

This "bank" doesn't count making deposits as "activity" so closed my account anyway and wouldn't reopen it or let me transfer the money out.  Felt very similar to when I got mugged back in the day.  "Customer Service" has zero script to follow or knowledge but had attitude, I felt like I was talking to a random drunk disinterested person at a party, not a customer service rep at a bank, it was 100% on me to ask questions and she just said "no" to everything as if I was trying to get her personal money.  I guess I lost a $1000 but I guess good thing I didn't deposit more?  Just please don't deposit any cash here unless you're OK losing it.

Every time I walk into the Kingston branch Im greeted with warm smiling faces that make me feel right at home. I highly recommend BOGC. If youre looking for a bank that is professional and knowledgeable with staff that treat you like family-this is the one!

Everyone at the Kingston branch is aways super helpful and nice. Its always a great experience doing my banking with anyone that is there. I am very happy to be a customer at the Bank of Greene County.

TheBank of Greene County staff is great. I have my business accounts set up with them on their free business 4% interest account and very happy!
