        We visited in April 2023 and let me say - this trail is not for just a fun walk. We only did the first part of the trail which was a VERY STEEP HIKE up the side of the mountain! To the point where I was saying - if the top is not in the next 100 feet Im gonna turn around - well I said that about 6 times but we did make it to the top. Amazing view, I can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the fall. But walking back down my legs were jelly! We didnt complete the trail to go see the waterfall and that was okay with me! At least the gazebo at the top offered a place to rest. There were a surprising number of hikers there that cold spring day too!
