    I had a repair specialist come to my house to fix a leak from my dishwasher. While he was very nice, I am extremely frustrated by the experience. He diagnosed the issue as coming from the venting system and ultimately concluded that I would need to order an entirely new venting system for the dishwasher because he believed the venting system was dripping water when it should only be letting out steam. However, after he left, I did a quick search online, which led me to a YouTube video, Samsung Dishwasher Vent Door Leak Repair. After watching the video, I learned that the venting system was not wrongly dripping water. Rather, there is a hole behind the venting system that water is supposed to drip from and collect inside the dishwasher, which was partially blocked, causing the water to run along the outside of the venting system and drip onto the floor. I was able to fix the issue in less than five minutes by cleaning the hole. I am upset that this is a repair that should have taken just a matter of minutes. Instead, I ultimately had to complete the repair myself and also pay an additional $100 on top of the base $110 fee the company charges for a visit because of the extra time they took failing to correctly diagnose the issue. Even more frustrating is that had I not done my own research, I would have paid an additional $300, per the subsequent estimate they sent me, to have the entire venting system replaced when it did not need to be. I would definitely not use this company again because it charged me extra for its misdiagnosing of an issue and attempted to charge me hundreds more for an unnecessary repair. Edit: In response to your response below. I did initially reach out and essentially the (delayed) response I received from you was, "Too bad. There are a lot of different brands of machine and we can't be expected to know how to fix all of them."

    After waiting over 10 business days for the part, I called your office to ask what happened and staff told me the part was in already, but we were never notified. She also told us the tech Andre was on vacation. He never said he wouldn't be working when the part was delivered. That's why no one bothered to tell us the part was in or to schedule with us. Staff gave us an appointment the following Tuesday but then Mr. Coleman waited until Tuesday to call and tell us he had the wrong part, and we would have to wait at least another day! I think he lied because he didn't want to come on Tuesday. Considering we were deliberately not told when the part came in, that fits his MO. You'll be lucky if I don't post a negative review on Yelp. Your service stinks if it's true he botched the part order. If he didn't mis-order, then your technician is deceitful. Maybe hire someone who will tell your customers the truth.
