Schweiger Dermatology Group - Jamestown

Went there for a few years. Was not always impressed with the office staff. But I didn't have any other options in my area. You feel like a number. Not a person with feelings and problems. Had a office staff member be very rude to me. More then once. Spoke to the manager and she defended the employee and made me feel like I did something wrong. She made excuses for the employee 's behavior, That it was my fault for the issues. Also if you have to cancel or reschedule an appointment more than three times they tell you to go elsewhere. Really! Wow !!! I'm glad they value their patients!!!! I have never been treated so disrespectful at an office in my life. They charge alot for their services and will not see you if you owe any money to them. Needless to say I have left that practice and have moved on elsewhere. It's a drive but worth it to be treated well and receive good care. I had been told by alot of people to not go there. Should of listened. Live and learn. My recommendation is find somewhere else to go.

The Physicians are all great! The billing department has some work to do. We continue to be billed for things that our insurance company paid in full! When you try to call billing it is a nightmare and then when you finally get through to someone, they are very rude!

Beware of cost, they will price gouge you! I would never recommend going to Schweiger Dermatology. I have fantastic insurance and everything I have ever had done has been covered completely. They overpriced my insurance company for a procedure that took five minutes and two stitches. The procedure was over $1800.00 and my insurance paid out over $1200.00 which I figure that was an adequate amount to pay out for five minutes. They want the full amount and I told them that the procedure and amount don't add since I have had a great history with my insurance company and they have paid everything within financial accuracy. I spoke with them many times and they tell me they will check into it and never a call back. Go to Erie if you need a dermatologist. They know there isn't any other dermatologist around so they will charge whatever they feel like. Stay away!

I went there last year for an allergic reaction to C.T. dye for 1st time ever.The doctor found skin cancer on the back of my leg,I had noticed awhile ago,but nothing had been done.I felt blessed to have had that allergic reaction to C.T. dye and had it many times before and never had a bad reaction. Returned for my yearly screening,they are wonderful there.A stitch that had come out from my incession they were able to remove.Also did a biopsy on my face.I recommend them highly.They are the best of the best...
