This Merrick Auto Repair and I believe I've found "the shop". Car kept squealing in reverse. Had brakes looked at. Cheap pads had been installed exactly one year ago and at just under 5000 miles were causing problems. Installed at Pitstop down the road, 4 brake pads with 4 rotors costing me $800. Never again. Merrick changed the pads (with a Groupon) and replaced both front control arms, for just under $700 and I feel good about my experience. I don't feel like I've been robbed. They suggested that the shocks and springs will need to be replaced. And at 16 years old and over 125K miles I've never needed to change the suspension. But time is taking its toll. And even though it was suggested, it wasn't a pressured sale. A++++ Will be back and will be recommending it to anyone looking for a mechanic that isn't trying to empty your bank account.

We passed by Friday to get an alignment and we paid and went across the street to get the job done then they tell us the lift is not working after we paid. We come back today and they make us wait there for 2 hours. They said they dont have some one to do it, then they tell us they will get someone to come and do it then they tell us eventually they dont want to do it. Waste of time.

Great service and good pricing. Guys even used a torque wrench to properly tighten wheels.

2 particular staff members were rude 1 guy rolled his eyes at me for no reason and the other dude looked like he wanted to fight me never going back there again
