Lufthansa Senator & Business Lounge

The only positive part about the lounge was the staff at the front desk and the waiters cleaning. Otherwise this lounge does not at all adhere to the first class/senator standards of Lufthansa. The food was not good at all and there was barely any variety. There was no alcohol and I ended up buying food from outside the lounge and bringing it with me. The senator lounge is not any different to the regular lounge other than the flight of stairs to access it. Such a large space could use a lot more buffet area & variety.

Sunny and spacious. Well located for all gates in terminal 1. The food was delicious and very fresh. Good variety of hot and cold food and self service draft beer! The pork stew and the vegetarian stew were both delicious. What was particularly outstanding was the impeccable service provided by Phillip. He was attentive to each guests needs and picked up the dishes immediately. He was continuously cleaning and tidying around the buffet area and could not do enough to provide service to all the customers in the lounge. Phillip is an asset to the Lufthansa lounge and to the hospitality business in which he works.

Very poorly trained crew. They didn't want to let me into the senators' lounge because I was supposedly an employee?!? After some discussion and asking me to leave. Did they let me in? Very unprofessional. Also very dirty...
