Our real estate agent recommended Mr. Somerstein to me and my wife and we are so glad that he did. Mr. Somerstein was extremely professional and clearly knowledgeable about the legal aspects during a home-buying process. When we first read the contract for buying a home, we were so confused. Mr. Somerstein explained it extremely well before we signed. During the actual closing, he again made sure we understood everything we signed. It was an enjoyable experience. Jonathan Sommerstein represented me in the purchasing of a house and again for the selling of a family apartment. He knows what he is talking about and is able to explain those things simply. At every point through our transactions I was left with the utmost in confidence that we were being well represented. Closings can involve a lot of things...its a really good feeling not having to worry about this aspect of the transaction.

Wish I could rate him 0 stars. Represents his Broker never the client. Man takes me out of the closing room when Im supposed to translate for the seller ( Im the sellers son) and makes his BROKER translate for him. We had told them we were going to pay a 3% commission instead of the 4% we had signed off on in the beginning because of our money loss of about 70,000+ due to permit delays and to the negligence of one of the agents whom he works alongside. Him and his broker Single handedly manipulated my Father into having him sign off on the 4% which was really low of them. Definitely DO NOT recommend.
