As one of many Senior Students of the Mayo Academy for 20 years; It is my honor to have been instructed by Sensei Sonny Mayo. My experience with Sensei and the Academy are positive and multi layered. My path to Black-Belt is full of tradition, learning self-discipline, appreciating family value and incorporating this with each competition. The quality of instruction is value by all of us who have prepared for tournaments and win or lose walked away feeling successful.
