My daughter is a junior in this school and doing very well. She's achieved honors just about every quarter since starting the ninth grade and maintains a 90 GPA. I do admit there are a lot of areas this administration needs to improve. However, most of the problems that are occurring within the school are based on the students that come to past time and get high as mentioned in a previous post....Parents this is a reflection of the families these kids come from not the school! I too have had my battles with the administration regarding academics and the Math teacher Mr. Singh because I don't believe he's effective in teaching minority children strategies to master math especially when half of his class is constantly failing and the administration is aware of this and nothing is being done. However, on the flip side of that there are programs available to students who are struggling in their subjects......But it is the responsibility of the student to reach out and seek help if it is needed. Overall, I still feel with some adjustments and if the school could get rid of the non-productive students this school would be much better. As I constantly tell my child I send you to school to learn and that is the goal. I also believe the students that stay within the top 10 of their class, have a better chance of achieving good grades and moving on to college.

Principal Lauel Vandernt is racist don't help or care in helping to uplift the kids when they ask for help after graduating and Ms. Malcolm use to follow everything she said as the Assistance Principal back then before she become principal now, lord help them kids in there.
