CCGC is a reputable school. I sent my two daughters there for the 2017-2018 school year before we moved out of state, and I'm just getting around to writing a review. The academic curricula is designed to challenge your student, but they go at a pace that is best for the child. When my daughters left the school, my almost-4 year old and 5 year old were both readers and adding. My 4 year old excelled the most because this past school year, my 5 year old put her homework folder on the table one day after school. My 4 year old accidentally completed her older sister's homework assignment with no assistance because she thought it was her own. I warrant the credit to CCGC because they challenged my 2 daughters like none other. Had I known for our 2 boys (ages 12 and 10), I would've sent them there. All children are capable, you just need to find the right institution to challenge them yet fit their capabilities and that's exactly what CCGC does. Lastly, the black pride in this environment is paramount. Students of all colors and backgrounds attend the school, but they promote black history the same way the public schools promote white history except in February. (Yes, shade to the U. S. public school system regarding history). No, I'm not getting paid for this review; I'm a satisfied mom who is speaking up for the majority of parents who love the academic outcome this school provided our children. Thank you Cambria! P. S. I love Rebekah & Nabria at the front :-)

This school has a rigorous academic program up until 2nd grade. However, the adults are not trained nor do they have any desire to deal with the social-emotional needs of children. Without daily or weekly progress from the teacher, parents are simply told about their children's progress after there is a problem. Furthermore, the children are not mobile they are expected to be very compliment after spending the day in a room no larger than a small bedroom. If weather does not permit, the children do not leave the facilities. Only send your child to this environment if they are extremely quiet, perfectly behaved, and comfortable with remaining in the same space for the duration of the school day. Finally, only send your child to the school if you have plenty of time to drop in and initiate updates on your child's progress.

I give this pre-school 0 points if possible. Completely closed minded environment! They refused to call my child by the name he's most comfortable with. Also, they claim to be open to all children but they isolate children who they feel are "too" much work. Beware of the hype. It's not worth it. It's the same group of families that recycle through this school with the same old school and closed minded ideologies.
