Bliss Beauty- Paulette Braid shop: This was my first time getting box braids ever which is why I went out of my way to search all the braiding shops in my area and try to find the best one. According to reviews this was it. I made an appointment a week in advance for sat 9am. A little after 8 the saturday of my appointment, i was asked to reschedule to 1030. I said okay cause, tbh life happens, I get it. I showed up 10 mins before then, and the person who is supposed to do my hair shows up a few mins before 1030. We get in the salon room, and there is another woman there who says she has an appointment for 10, so because she's only getting a 4 cornrow style, she goes ahead of me. So not only did my appointment get pushed back from 9 to 1030, i also had to wait another hour and 15 while someone elses hair got done- which is only the fault of the person who took these appointments, not the fault of the women who was told she could come in for a 10am appointment. But why am i paying a deposit to secure my spot if the person doing my hair is just going to reschedule me and put people in front of me? I should have gotten out of there at 1-1:30 but instead walked out closer to 4. The style came out okay. The second person working to braid the ends of my hair was pulling on my hair as if her life depended on it. As a first-time experience getting box braids, this was horrible. I was practically running out of there when my hair was finished. Professionalism goes very far in my book, and this place has serious work to do.

Conveniently located. Some of the suites are very loud. They sound like they are having a party so that takes away from the typical relaxing salon experience.
