Quality Inn Hyde Park - Poughkeepsie North

This was a decent place. The room was clean. The halls looked a little dirty, not sure if it was dust from vents or if someone tracked in mud. There was a continental breakfast area with juice and coffee 24 hours. When asked if they had water, I was told no, there is a gas station next door. I previously stayed at a Quality Inn in Ithaca, NY, and they had water guests could buy. In the room there is a small coffee maker and fridge. If you like coffee in the morning, bring a cup they only have 6 oz coffee cups in the rooms as well as the breakfast area. Nearby activities: 3 minutes from the Culinary Institute of America. 5 min from Marist College.

I spent the Christmas weekend of 2023 at this location and I actually got my old room back, lol. I love the location of this Quality Inn in Hyde Park as it is very quiet and tucked away. I drove pass the other location in Poughkeepsie and my friend and I preferred the location at Hyde Park. I liked their complimentary breakfast and the staff are very courteous. I hope to visit again sometime in March of 2024. In the voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger "I'll be back!" Lol. Rooms: Clean Nearby activities: There is Franklin Roosevelt Musuem nearby and Roosevelt Theatre to watch movies. There is also a small shopping center not too far with a supermarket (Stop & Shop). Walkability: Walking distance to movie theatre

In town for a wedding and visiting friends. The walls are paper thin! You can hear everything in the room next to you. People were blasting music and doing stuff next door and when my wife called the front desk she just kept being told to call back in another 5 or 10 minutes. Youd walk in and no one at the front desk would say anything. The breakfast was okay. Juice machine was broken and the water tasted funky. Theres no ventilation in the bathroom which Im almost sure is illegal. Theres also no elevator or ADA doors to get in. Not sure how that is legal either. Just dont stay here.
