Hampton Inn & Suites Huntington Downtown

Staff was rude and said there were no rooms available even though they had open rooms. We will not be staying here again!

The manager up from front was more than rude. Canceled my order through hotels com because she told me they had no rooms left and where sold out I wasnt able to get my money back for the two rooms, my friend who I was with went threw another third party app and was able to get us both rooms , the manager lied and cost me $500 , she was rude and cursed at my wife. Great area terrible staff, wouldnt stay here again if someone paid me, the manager lady up front shouldnt be doing customer service , she called my wife the c word after my wife asked why she lied about being sold out and made me cancel a preexisting reservation that was non refundable, save your money or go stay anywhere else , you could stay at a homeless camp and probably meet friendly people, whole staff seems to be miserable, two employees told me they get nothing but complaints and hate there job, then when I finally got to my room I paid for twice because she lied there was no toilet paper and two out of three towels we were left at red and brown make up marks on them, overall terrible experience zero out of 10 stars if I can make it a -5 I would

Poor stay. What I did try to do was report all this direct with Hilton. That failed. Ronny was opening a case for me and the chat disconnected. Then Steven said he was unable to view past chat and I had to repeat everything I detailed to Ronny. I asked for a supervisor and he abruptly ended and left the chat. So, I'll place it here then Location is ideal. But staff just felt as to not care. TV error (771) was an issue. Blinds were not going up and reported that to front desk (unsuccessful). Next door room was extremely loud. Screaming at around 2am (not hotels fault). Room outlets near bathroom not working and had to call bc iron was not turning on. Was told to use other outlets on other side of room away from bathroom. Just frustrating stay and when reporting there and on their chat...I got nowhere. Was trying to remain professional but had to take it here
