    DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR DOOR-TO-DOOR TACTICS. I've encountered their salespeople before while living in an apartment with college roommates and learned my lesson. They charge higher rates than PSEG, and they act as if they're part of PSEG. This is shady and they definitely don't tell you all the information. Unfortunately I wasn't home today so they got my partner to give them our gas and electric numbers. Now we have to call PSEG to un-enroll once they enroll once. DO NOT GO WITH GREEN CHOICE ENERGY. If you ask questions to their salespeople for more specifics on the pricing, which company they actually work for, etc., they just deflect. So upset. Such a waste of my time. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves for using deceptive tactics on unsuspecting people.

    SCAM. This has happened to me twice. Their representatives unexpectedly appear at the door, claiming to offer low-cost electricity. They ask you to sign up, promising a $50 monthly discount. When you inquire about the per KWH cost, they tell you to wait for the agreement documents to arrive by mail. I've just reviewed the documents, and the cost per KWH is much higher than PSEG. It's a pathetic way to make customers.

    Scam. Reported. You should be ashamed of yourselves. EDIT: Head of their Quality Assurance called. She was apologetic and friendly, said my account would not be enrolled. Not sure if theyre subcontracting these shady people for door to door but if theyre a legit company they really shouldnt be trying to swindle people into business!

    They don't just go door to door. Now they call and use their shady/pushy tactics. If you don't answer, they'll just keep calling you right back. The lady I spoke with said my account had just been canceled with them and it may have been in mistake, and she needed to verify information. Instead, they signed me up for their service at more than double the cost of Consumers, and locked me into a 12 month contract. I'm calling to cancel and switch back to Consumers. All these 3rd party providers are a bunch of scammers, using very shady tactics to push people into signing up with them. Oh, and the $50 monthly rewards they make sound so wonderful are absolute garbage (another company has the same deal and it's worthless). I see a class action lawsuit in their future.

    I was told I'd get a gift card every month. If this is true, you deserve 5 stars. Edit: Ran around town to try and get some of those dining rewards but none of them work. Not a single restaurant knows what green choice energy rewards is. They never heard of you. I feel like an idiot running around town and wasting my time. I gave them the benefit of a doubt after one company rejects the offers but when all of them rejects it, you should know notice they are running a scam. I tried calling but then they sent me an email to reply to because they can't talk about it over the phone. They have responded to my email. Buyer beware! Edit again: Also their representatives tell you, you'll be getting a $50 gift card every month but instead, you're given a $50 reward to purchase gift cards for 5% off retail.
