        The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The doctor listens to me and is very knowledgeable. Went in for Rosacea and if one thing didn't work, then tried something new. Now my face is clear.

        Dr. Flugman is by far the best at this office. Patient/ compassionate and lets me vent my frustrations. Answers all my questions and is extremely knowledgeable. Hes never fluffed me off and fights for every medication to be covered by insurance no matter the cost. Never steered me wrong medication-wise. I was bedridden in 2020 from eczema and have been working 2.5 years straight now thanks to him. I will continue to come to this office as long as Im in NY.

        Im surprised theres so many good reviews. I waited 4 months and traveled over an hour to see Dr. Dannenberg after being highly recommended by my dermatologist. I have severe sudden onset eczema on my hands that no one has been able to find the cause of. He walked in the room, looked at my hands from a foot away, and said yup thats typical hand eczema. He then proceeded to write down on a piece of paper multiple lotions I could buy at CVS (Aveeno, Aquaphor, really??). He then, without asking what Ive tried, sent over an ointment to my pharmacy that Ive already tried and failed. His response was why dont you try again, then asked if there was anything else he could do (other than nothing). The nurse was friendly and professional and so were the front desk staff, but I have never been to a doctor that was more condescending.

      Dr. Dannenberg is a physician in the Department of Dermatology at Northwell Health. He is board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology.Dr. Dannenberg earned his medical degree from the Jefferson Medical College. He completed his internship at Baystate Medical Center and his dermatology residency at Medical College of Virginia. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of residency training. During his professional career, Dr. Dannenberg has been a leader in dermatology for the region in several capacities. He is the department Chair in Dermatology at Huntington Hospital. Dr. Dannenberg is Past President of both the Long Island Dermatologic Society and the Suffolk County Dermatology Society, and he has served as Treasurer for the New York State Society of Dermatology. He has also served in various leadership capacities for the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Dannenberg has been in practice in the Huntington area for over 20 years. He has special expertise in contact and occupational dermatitis and he offers a full array of patch testing services to individualize evaluation. He is also expert in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology in patients of all ages. Dr. Dannenberg has extensive experience in surgical management of skin cancer, UV light phototherapy, and the use of immunotherapy for inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema. He also provides training to Northwell dermatology residents in surgical procedures and cosmetics.
